2025 Calico 2H Slant BP - Swing-Wall DR & Good Stall Sizes!

$10,750
Centreville, MD Listed on 7/10/2026
New
Traveled Lane Trailers, Inc.

This 13' Calico 2H slant is a foot longer than their standard 12' model. And the reason we prefer the 13 is because in the 12, the rear stall is about a foot narrower than the front. With the 13, we have Calico give the extra foot to the rear stall so both are essentially the same size. Body height is another area where we specify a bit more for the comfort of your horses This one's 7' tall. If you have ponies, 6'6" might work, but even if you have small to medium sized horses, they'll find this 7' body height more inviting.

Please note that when we show a price for a Calico, it's for a well-equipped, ready to use trailer. We don't list a low price and then make you spend hundreds more for mats, spare tire, brakes on a second axle, comfortable height for horses, etc. And we don't tack on dealer fees to run up the price!

These swing-wall slants are popular because they're versatile, easy-to-handle and very affordable. That swing-wall dressing room makes this a multi-use trailer. Lift the Saddle Boss racks out of their mounts, swing aside the stall divider & dressing room wall and you have an open trailer. Great for hauling hay, a small tractor, ATVs, livestock or a variety of other non-horse cargoes.

Part of the appeal of a Calico is its functionality and part of the appeal is appearance. The Calico rounded nose looks good, but it also splits the air as you go down the road. Another aspect combining looks & function is the finish. Calico's multi-step prep, prime & paint process produces a glossy finish. For quite some time, they've been caulking seams to minimize the chance of rust formation in areas where it's hard to get paint to penetrate. In 2016, they took things a step further and went to a 2-part urethane paint with hardener. In our experience, their acrylic enamel held up well, but Calico decided that urethane's tough but flexible finish would provide an even better ownership experience.

Here are some key features on this versatile Calico stock combo (some are standard and some are options, but all are included in the listed price):
* 13' body length
* 7' body height
* 6' body width
* Rear stall approximately same width as front stall (In 12' 2H slant, rear stall is about 1 foot narrower)
* Empty weight approximately 2580 lbs. Well built, but not super heavy.
* Swing-wall dressing room with front window, two removable Saddle Boss saddle racks, several bridle hooks and light
* With the swing-wall dressing room, open up the interior to use the trailer for other uses
* Stall divider is easily removable and has a fast-action latch (just flip a lever to retract or extend; quick & easy!).
* Divider telescopes so you can close the rear gate when the divider is against the wall.
* Standard escape door on first stall
* Standard rear gate (if you prefer a ramp, ramp options are offered by Calico)
* Rubber floor mats
* Rubber lining to 2' height on butt wall
* Interior lights
* Padded chains across rear opening, escape & DR door openings
* Smooth-riding torsion axles with 16" Load Range E Radials (the same size tires you'll see on many 3-4 horse and small LQ trailers - very generous for a bumper pull!)
* Brakes on both axles (brakes on one axle are standard on Calico, but we specify brakes on both axles; a low-cost investment for greater safety)
* Spare tire
* Stone guards on nose and fender fronts
* Door tiebacks (tiebacks are one of those useful touches we specify on our Calicos - no doors swinging in the breeze!)
* Structure prepped, primed & seams caulked before application of top coat of 2-part urethane with hardener
* Color: Pueblo with Medium Suede pinstripes

As shown on this trailer, livestock air gaps offer a bright and well-ventilated interior, while keeping the price down, but Calico will build this trailer with windows on one or both sides if you prefer. Drop-down feed door options are offered as well.

Calico has been offering well-made, value-priced trailers since 1983 and Traveled Lane has been selling them since 2008. We invite you to visit Traveled Lane to see our selection of Calicos (or spec out a custom Calico to be built to your requirements). Folks shopping for a used trailer are often surprised to find that a new Calico, even a custom one, is within the budget.

Prices include freight to our dealership, but exclude tax, title and registration, which you pay to your state of titling and registration. Cash price shown. No surprise dealer fees!

You can edit your ad anytime using your login information.

To place an ad now, create your free account and complete the secure Ad Form.

We encourage you to update your ad whenever you need to make corrections, add new information, or change photos. Keeping your listing accurate and up to date can help you sell your trailer faster.

If you listed your truck or trailer on Horse Trailer World and cannot find the ad using the search tool, try broadening your search.

Start with the most general search options first. For example, search by only the state or only the brand instead of filling in multiple fields at once. This can make it easier to locate your listing.

If you know your ad number, you can also use the Ad Number search box to pull up your listing directly.

A strong listing can make a big difference when selling your horse trailer online. Based on what we’ve seen, trailers with clear photos, detailed descriptions, and fair pricing tend to get the most interest.

Photos are especially important. Ads with pictures consistently perform better than ads without them, so we recommend adding high-quality photos as soon as possible. Show the outside, inside, stalls, tack area, tires, hitch, living quarters if included, and any important details or upgrades. Good lighting and clean, uncluttered photos can help buyers feel more confident about reaching out.

Your description should be honest, specific, and easy to read

Include key details such as the year, brand, size, number of horses, trailer type, condition, features, recent maintenance, and any known issues. Buyers are looking for everything from large living-quarter trailers to simple 2-horse bumper pulls, so the more clearly you describe your trailer, the easier it is for the right buyer to find it.

Great photos can make a big difference when selling your trailer. Each ad allows up to 30 photos, and we recommend adding several clear, well-lit images to help buyers understand the condition, layout, and features of your trailer.

For the best results, include:

  • A clear 3/4 exterior view of the trailer
  • Interior photos of the horse area
  • Rear or loading area photos
  • Tack room or dressing room photos, if included
  • At least four interior photos for living quarter trailers
  • Close-ups of important features, upgrades, tires, hitch, and any areas buyers may ask about

Try to take photos on a bright, sunny day for the best color and clarity. Clean out the trailer first, remove clutter, and take photos from slightly different angles so buyers can get a complete view. Honest, detailed photos help build trust and can lead to more serious inquiries.

Photos can be uploaded anytime by logging into your ad. If you are ready to post your ad but do not have photos yet, you can add them later.

If you have trouble uploading photos, you may email them as attachments or mail them by regular ground mail. We accept JPG, GIF, TIFF, and BMP files by email, though JPG files work best. All photos are converted to JPG format for posting, and mailed photos are scanned and posted online. If you mail physical photos and want them returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Your personal and payment information is protected when you submit the Ad Form. The form is delivered through a secure SSL connection, which encrypts the information you enter before it is transmitted.

This added security helps protect sensitive details such as your credit card information, contact information, and other personal data. SSL encryption is the same type of security commonly used for online payments, banking, and other secure transactions.

Because the form uses encryption, it may load or respond a little more slowly than a standard webpage. You can confirm that the page is secure by looking for the security icon in your browser. In most browsers, you can click or double-click the icon to view more information about the secure connection.
